August 5, 2009 2 Mile Hermosa Beach to Manhattan Beach Pier to Pier Ocean Swim



The Swim (pictures taken by Warren "G" Newmark; look for Magnums wearing green caps):



The Results:

There was a total of 1004 swimmers. Also, it should be noted that times in 2009 averaged about 7 minutes slower than the 2008 Pier to Pier swim results.

Jim (39) 1:33.30 * (has qualified Jim as the slowest ever Magnum 2 miler, perhaps forever)
