Begin 2022 Ocean Swim Season

Memorial Day 2022 began as a sunny day but higher than normal surf and an ocean temp of 63 degrees or so.  Randy, Ryan and I started swimming at a little after 8 am on Monday, May 30, 2022 and Tim and Patrick started swimming as we were coming out of the ocean.  Julie has been swimming recently with the girliemen group but was out of town in Chicago and was not able to swim with us today.  Hopefully, next Sunday will welcome back more of our 18 street pod swimmers.

2021 Holiday Breakfast at Uncle Bills

 Avoiding the rain the night before and the unusually cold weather, 8 Magnums (not counting three Magnums who could not attend for various reasons), huddled inside  on a far corner and enjoyed a warm breakfast after a 2 year hiatus due to the Covid-19 Pandemic:

Cedric's 59th Birthday

Cedric turned 59 today (Dec 2, 2020) and in the usual swim manner, there were a number of Bay Club members who wanted to celebrate.  Like Tim's 60th birthday some months ago, the fast boys decided to help Cedric celebrate his 59th by swimming 59-100 yard swims on a 1:30 interval (they actually swam an extra 100 yards for good measure).  This was not so unusual since it was the same Cedric who set a goal of swimming 1,000,000 yards in 2019, a goal he easily and strenuously achieved.  The swimmers today consisted of Brent, Greg, Jerry, Patrick, Tim and. of course Cedric.  Good swim all.

This is the first MMM update in a long time.  It feels good to be back in the club pool.

2019 Manhattan Magnum Masters Team Holiday Breakfast

In spite of multiple health and accident issues for several our Magnum Team male swimmers,  most of us were healthy enough to attend the December 13, 2019 Holiday Breakfast at Uncle Bills Restaurant:
