December 8, 2017 Magnum Team Breakfast - Special Edition

Cedric sponsored the latest Magnum Team Breakfast for the month of December which started out with Coach Bruce's googles hitting the high wire mark and basically thereafter the Magnums were photographed and uncovered, to wit:

November 10, 2017 Magnum Swim Team Breakfast

Thanks to the extra-curricula benevolence of the two Jim's, the Manhattan Magnum Masters celebrated another team breakfast after a brief swim workout and long stay in the outdoor zaccuzzi.
The team also celebrated both Jim's 50th and 70th respective birthdays as well as coach Bruce's 65th birthday.  Some of the magnums may be aging but Aqua life is good.

Teresa hosted a long delayed Magnum Masters Team party in the recreational area at her condo complex with wine, whites before reds, chips and two dips, chicken caesar salad, meat balls, chocolate chip cookies, two cakes, and 16 month old Nikolai.  Thank you Teresa (and Kevin) for a food and conversation filled party, to wit:

Coach Bruce and his third place medal from FINA's World Water Polo Masters contests in Budapest

Even though Bruce's team came in third (some team members were playing sick from going on a prior river cruise, and so did Bruce upon returning home), he ate and drank well and was very pleased with the swim facilities and FINA's organization in running the water polo matches:

Susan celebrated her 29th birthday with team members as shown in the following picture that can be enlarged by double clicking on the image:

May 2017 Magnum Team Breakfast

On May 18, 2017, Chuck's actual birthday, with Dan as co-host and May birthday boy and workout designer, the team swam a 300 yard warm-up, five 100's and 18-50's in 45 minutes for a "5-18-45" workout with pool bar breakfast following the workout.

There was a good turnout this morning to help Guy and Cedric meet their club meals minimum. Cedric's birthday was in December (and when we found that out) connected him to host with Guy who is the only Magnum with a January birthday.  So it all worked out well for all of us who swam at the club this morning.  Click on image to enlarge:
