Our new Manhattan Magnum Masters Magnum Bottle

2010 was the year the Manhattan Magnum Masters made the decision to follow through on a wine order from Spence Vinyards.    Jacalyn Spence has been a guest swimmer with the team on a few occasions and her family has a boutique winery in Napa.  So an order for 19 bottles was made for the special bottling of 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon and Jacalyn made a Merry Christmas surprise and made the order complete and true to our nature with a 2006 Cabernet Magnum.  So a toast to Jacalyn and a big lead in for our next Magnum  Team get-together. December 12, 2010 Magnum Fireworks Party at Pat's House

It was a unanimous vote that the Manhattan Beach Pier Fireworks 2010 in terms of both weather and intensity and brillance of the fireworks show was "As Good As It Gets."  The temperature on August 12, 2010 set a record for downtown LA and the beach cities most likely broke records for this time of the year: no fog, smog just incredibly clear viewing as the pics below indicate.  You can double click on each picture to enlarge.
