Chuck has a new digital camera that also takes underwater videos

The video below will be the first of many underwater shots of the Magnums. As such this first video and amounts to more of a test than anything else. Even though the screen appears black, if you click, perhaps a couple of times on the arrow keys, and wait for the "buffering" word to appear. the video will soon start.

March beautiful on Mammoth Mountain

Chuck is happily skiing in perfect conditions at Mammoth Mountain. After viewing the area around Chair 23, site of the latest Bob wipeout and near catastrophe, Chuck is recommending that Bob "help I'm lost in the fog" Kapust should henceforth be nick named Bob "an accident waiting to happen" Kapust. What do you think Magnums?

Last Breakfast with Dan (before his shoulder surgery)

The Magnums celebrated breakfast after a Thursday swim workout to console Dan on his scheduled shoulder surgery early Friday morning. Dan will have right shoulder surgery, or a repair of a SLAP tear to the right labrum (basically to repair where the bicep tendon attaches to the shoulder), resect distal clavicle (basically “clean up” the AC joint) and resect a bone spur (cut it off…). And, that’s all! according to Dan.

Anyway, the following Magnums were able to attend the breakfast: Coach Bruce, Wally, Dan, Matt and Chuck:





Attending the swim workout but missing the breakfast were No show Hallett, I've got paying clients to meet Tom, I've got to go to work Susan, and I've got window people coming over Pat.

Correction to prior video comments on Tom's tie. If you look
at Tom's lower left leg, you will notice remnants of Teresa'
famous pumpkin cake squares. Also, hard to notice are the remnants/spots
of spilled orange juice on Tom's right leg pants:



So Tom went home and changed to clean pants for his court
appearance. The good news is Tom is now back to driving
his new Mercedes which has been in the repair shop for the
last two months (yes, there is a complicated story as to why
two months):
