ISF, subject to pressure, issues official swim time to Coach Bruce

Although the team is still awaiting on the Coach's wife's pictures taken before the start of the 2008 Pier to Pier ocean (this year called a rough water against the current) swim, the controversy over whether Coach Bruce registered has been resolved. Unlike the slow Jim Hallett who received an official time, Coach Bruce did not have an official time recorded at the end of the race, suggesting that he never registered to wear a timing chip.

However, based on the official results that were made public, Coach Bruce came in fifth in the medium old fart (men 55-59) division. Coach used his daughters' time of 53:40, claiming that his ankle chip did not register the time as he was right behind Katay at the finish line.

Way to go (finally) Bruce.
